Jan 12.... And yes I have been extreemly derelict in posting updates on this page, I have no excuse save for it seeems I am always trying to keep up with everything I do on the web and in my own life. I wish everyone a good new year in this 2001. I have done a lot of things with Darkfear in the last few months, much of it can be seen as updates on the main page of the site as you enter at darkfear.com ..Pic Post has 11 members now, there is now a regular survey or mini poll on the site. I now have an 88 X 31 pixel banner exchange in addition to the other wich takes standard banners of 468 X 60 pixels in size. The Dark Top 100 and the Vampire Church Top 50 have many new members. I did get the Dark Top 100 server to restore my database for me and then earlier this month Utimate Topsites which hosted Darksites of the Web dropped me, there is a new rant about them. When can you trust these guyes. The domain is getting quite large now and does encompass the Vampire Church, Vampire Alliance, Tomb of the Vampire, and Web Alliance. These are the major subgroups, in addition to the web services I offer on the main page. I have now found reason to have a rant section considering all the BS I run into on the web. Well there are many other things going on which you can find on the main page of the site. ~Damien

Sept 16....I did not expect to make a new entry here so soon, but this is an important one. After being screwed over by topsitelists in disabling the Dark Top 100 and the Vampire Church Top 100, I have now installed a new List known as the Darksites of the Web. The banner size is much smaller (88 by 31 pixels) but this will enable everyone to have a banner and I believe make the Listing easier to navigate. I will have IP voting with this List which only means, you must vote from a different IP address each day for it to count. I think this is a better idea than allowing people to just repeatedly vote for themselves. I hope everyone likes the new List and it is now posted of course on the main page. You can join there. Sept 11....Well I know it has been over two months since I made an entry here, but I have been busy making changes and improvements to the site. One of the things I found to be a nice and useful tool is voicechat which I added back in early August. We all get tired of the keyboard and there are a lot of new programs like voice chat to take us out of this old way of doing things. I have made several changes as you may know to the opening pages which now comes down to just an image preloader to lead to the main page. I think I have finally settled down on an acceptable opening code whch will transport you faster and easier to the main page. I also redesigned the main page and it's look, and believe I now have the look I want for easier navigation and nicer appearance. Your comments are always welcomed. I have added some affliate programs for me in the form of some banners and the Anything Search, just nickel and dime stuff for me. The next step is finding a new server and host for my domain that will not harrass me for my content and programming. That will be the next challenge. I think the look and design of the site will remain as is for a while, but then I have said that before, this time I mean it I think, hell where is the time when you have to work 10 hours a day for a living. July 8.... Have redesigned the opening and main pages for better enhanced design on the screen resolution. Also added a meta tag for auto page transfer for the opening pages to allow visitors to just "sit back and do nothing" while gazing at the opening pages. I believe I will stay with these changes for now with this design approach. On the main page, I attempted to reduce the # of tables to allow faster loading and less strain on weaker computers (as was pointed out by one guest). I forget sometimes that using just text for some is still too much bandwith for them to handle. Hell, my notebook (which btw has only 16 ram with a 100 processor) can load the main page with ease. Well.. that's the news for today, but I am sure I will find other pages to change since I can't seem to remain satisfied for long with anything. All other pages have been updates except for Vampire Alliance which I hope to do this coming week.

June 11....Updated many pages in the site. Main page has been modified somewhat to add a little color to the left and right columns to have them stand out from the rest of the page. BannerExchange now has over 200 accounts. Dark Top 100 has over 280 listings. The Darkfear Index is now approaching 300 listings. The email program now has near 300 accounts. More work has been done on the vampirism pages including the Vampire Church and Vampire Alliance.

May 1..Well..I have redone the main page again, this time eliminating all borders except for the two left and right columns and changing the background color to black. I think this looks simpler and has more of the dark theme which I want to project. The Darkfear Index now has over 250 listings and the Banner Exchange has over 200 members. The Dark Top 100 now has over 240 listings of dark sites. I have started the rant of the week and Link Exchange has the honor of becoming the very first listing. Many pages have been updated and there have been some new additions made to the main page of the website.

April 1..I have now gone back to an extra column with two main columns in the center part of the main page. The other look was wasting space and not giving me enough for what I wanted to have, ie the new look. The site has gone thru a lot of growth and now we have over 200 in the Darkfear Search Engine and as many in the Banner Exchange and Top sites programs. I have decided to offer advertising again on the main page. Just click on the ad banner. I have also expanded the services of the Vampire Church and the information offered on vampirism. Visit the Wall of Fears and the Graveyard of Fears, interesting reading there. And I have added to the Cemetary Gallery.

Feb 18..It was time to simplfy the main page. I have now reduced the content of the main page to just one small column and a larger column. Sometimes less content can be a better feature. So I removed the contact me and tell a friend forms as well some duplication and found that this new design will be simpler in look and still offer the navigation to everything in my domain. I also created a new entrance page or image to lead to the main page. I thought the site needed a way to set the mood and feeling of what the site is about as visitors enter. So I have added the current graphic on the entrance page. I hope it sets the tone I desire in a dark web site about dark themes. I believe this new look will remain a while and have no further plans to change the look of the entrance and main pages of the site in the near future.

Jan3..I have now setup the main page as a table to everything in my domain. I believe this format will be easier to read and should help simply getting around in my domain. This is the common table format of two small columns with a larger column in the middle to describe some of the programs offered in the site. From the main page naviagtion has been made easier to other parts of the site. I have also added some new features and services on feedback and brought essential site information to the front page, including a picture of me and information about me. I hope all find this new main page look more business like in it's offering of everything in my domain.

Well.. as anyone who has been here can see, been a while since I posted any updates to what has been going on here. First I will say that the new entrance to d.a.r.k.f.e.a.r.d.o.t.c.o.m (http://darkfear.com) is done. This is the main entrance to my entire domain. There is now a separte entrance to the Tomb of the Vampire at http://www.geocities.com/~darkester/tombvampire.html which can be found as a link on the main entrance. I have tried to keep things simple in one main entrance to everything in my domain which has grown quite large now, encompassing many things that I offer here now. These are now listed on the main entrance. I have worked on many of the pages here, too numerous to mention on this page, but explore on your own, and please give me your kind feedback or death threats, whatever suites you, and I do get it all. So I hope you will enjoy your surfing in my domain, and I believe these updates will be fewer in frequency now than they have been...fare thee well...

I have been busy doing a lot of work on the web promotion end of the site to tie all the sites in my domain together. I have started Darkfear Web Services and the Entrance to the site now has a new look to reflect this change. Url is the same at (http://www.darkfear.com) I am working on several web services now. I have already implemented the Dark Top 100 ranking listing for dark sites. In the coming days I will be installing a Banner Exchange Program and A Search Engine for Dark Sites. I will also be offering an email program for (darkfear.com). So check back in the coming days for further updates.

Well...a month has gone by since I have entered any words here.. but I seem to have little time anymore for all I do at this domain and the Vampire Church. I have updated the Wall of Fears and the Graveyard of Fears. Constantly updating the entire site esp the Vampire Church which is quite active now with new members and more visitors..another month in the life.....

I have been relocating the past couple weeks and have not had much time to do much here. Just when I get another Guestbook from another co..Yahoo gets their shit together and now figures they better get their asses in traction..so now I may go back to the former I had with them..updated the Wall of Fears and The Graveyard of Fears as usual..I think I am going on low energy right now and that I believe will change in the coming week.....

July 9..
Well..what a time we are having..yahoo(right like some hillbillies)come along and take over geocities(when they cannot even keep their own house straight)and of course screw things up with the geocities servers..I completely lost the Guestbook with all the entries for this year..so now I have a new server in place..one of those many free guestbook services on the web.. then I have been updating and changing all of my forms so they will function again..if it were not for 20 megs of data to move..I would have left these turkeys behind long ago to their own demise..but oh well..never enough time in a day..have updated some other pages including the Wall of Fears and the Graveyard of Fears..I have other things I want to do..maybe in time i will find some time.....

The Vampire Church and Vampire Alliance have been acquiring more members and are doing well in the vamp community on the web. Have updated The Wall of Fears and The Graveyard of Fears. The links pages are growing and have a sizable amount of links to other vampiric and dark sites. You might want to check out the Message Board here as there are some interesting posts there. most of my time seems to be taken by the Vampire Church now and it is getting more difficult to update the main site like I want to..but I am still keeping up with it all.....

Many pages have been updated..I am currently working on a new domain for the Vampire Church..www.vampire-church.com..which should be up and going in a couple weeks..My domain is getting vast and the Church continues to prosper..The Elist is very busy for me with over 80 members..I hope to open a Church store for online merchandise..and to raise funds online for an offline office for information and news..will take some time and work.....

April2..
the months move right along..the Vampire Church has been updated with a new listing and now the Elist has over 80 members. Vampire Alliance now has a message board..Wall of Fears and the Graveyard of Fears have been updated..I have added myself to the Occult 100 and the dark network 100..Dark Serene and Lucifer's continues to give me the most visits with Sick Puppies List coming in third..nothing like free exposure and it's much better than the search engines..another day in the life.....

Have updated the wall of Fears and the Graveyard of fears..seems you will always get the posts from the ones who have been watching too much TV or been at the movies..you know the ones.. they believe what their TV and movie screen tells them.. well.. I have made major changes to the Vampire Church site adding an Awards program and a pass protected members page..also installed a midi player for 24 files as a pop up window on the Church site and at Vampire Alliance..decided to discontinue the Vampire Alliance Elist as noone is really using it..I do not beieve it really serves a purpose anyway for the site..The Church Elist continues now with over 70 members...in the dark of shadows.....

Major changes have been made in the design of the opening pages to allow them to load faster with less pages..Installed the Tomb of the Vampire message board and a Links board for traffic..a self serving program for the vistor..have updated the Wall of Fears and the Graveyard of fears..more positive comments coming in instead of the ignorant or mental..hope the site now runs much better.....

Well...for all those whiners who don't have a very able computer and haved whined about the javascript on the opening pages.. I have now offered a choice on the opening page between entering with pages with the java and entering with pages with very little javascript..and I have also reduced the number of pages to get to the main page..in other news..I have added a new message board for the main site and the Vampire Church.....

yes..another saturday and updating my comments of the Wall of Fears and the Graveyard of Fears..added a link database for all those with websites to add them..again redesigned the opening page so that the page opens faster with better java..continue to redesign many pages..think I will now go have a drink.....

Well...it is another saturday and spending the day updating these pages...now it has been a year since I started this updates page..happy fucking anniversary...hmm how time flies...well I have been getting many of my pages into tables (finally)...so I hope this will help the look and ease of use of many of these pages here...have not been getting any entries in a while on the Wall of Fears and the Book of Souls although the Vampire Church gets them just about every day...and that reminds me that both the Church and Vampire Alliance continue to thrive...hits to the site have dropped to around 70-100 a day now...so many pages here now have a new look.....

I have finally made the fade and lake class applets for the opening page and also some mouseovers..the opening page was completely redone..updated the Wall of Fears and the Graveyard of Fears..The Vampire Church continues to grow and acquire more members and the site has been updated..Vampire Alliance had it's first online Zine about two weeks ago and also continues to grow..more is coming in graphics and art.....

the weeks continue to go by..have updated the Wall of Fears and the Graveyard of Fears..continue to get interest in the Vampire Church and I have now "broken away" from the Legion of Darkness which has met it's demise..I put out the very first issue of Vampire Alliance and it and the Vampire Church continue to grow..I continue making more graphics and redesigning some pages..always trying to get caught up..I will be having more time in the coming weeks.....

Well..it has been about a month since I have been here..I just finished updating my replies to the Wall of Fears and the Graveyard of Fears and i am seeing more positive and serious entries on both than i have in the past..maybe more "mature" minded souls are frequeting there now..I have done many "cosmetic" changes to many pages but nothing major has changed..i hope to be making some major changes on the design of the site at the end of the year when i will have more time to test the html and java script..so big changes should be coming i hope.....

I have now added more members to Vampire Alliance and the Vampyre Church..also started an Elist for Vampire Alliance (VampireAlliance@onelist.com)..and have again updated the Wall of Fears and The Graveyard of Fears..while I find interesting serious entries..I also find redicule and attempts at humor..in a way this is disappointing but I am not surprised for the world is full of mindless souls whose attempts at this sort of verbage has become redundant..for it is too bad that stupidity is not painful.....

I have updated and expanded the site of Vampire Alliance..all the information for the site is now there...I have updated the Wall of Fears and the Graveyard of Fears. I am still catching up with requests and applications for the awards program and writings' submissions...hope to make some progress this week on this...the Vampyre Church has also been updated...such is another day in the life.....

Well..I just finished updating the Wall of Fears and the Graveyard of fears and *L* I must say that some who have been there are without a clue (but then what else is new)..and others appear to be envious of my work to post such mindless comments.. after all..why do some just keep coming back??..Have recieded new members in Vampire Alliance and the Vampyre Church..both are growing and I have high hopes for the Alliance..also Web alliance is growing as well..so a little more work on Vampire Alliance on listing member pages will get me more up to date.....

Well..been a while since I entered an update here. I will begin by saying that I have founded the Vampire Alliance, an organization to promote unity among those vampires who have vampiric sites. It is intended to bring these souls together so that we may learn from one another and gain information about other vampiric souls thru their web sites on the internet. Thru this experience I hope to encourage unity among ourselves in the vampire community. I started an Elist for the Vampyre Church and am putting out a newletter for the Church. I have also updated the Wall of Fears and The Graveyard of fears..so go take a look at my comments on the entries. Also have been designing some graphics and making some cosmetic changes on some pages. I have scraped the notion of creating a site for a tribute to halloween, just do not have much interest in this and their are already enough sites doing this now. But I still have major work to do on some pages such as the Dark Room and the Dungeon..well one day I will get to them......

So time is flying by..and Halloween is near...maybe I will construct a tribute page soon..will have to think of something original with a different slant..since it will be near the next full moon..the Vampyre Church is doing well and there are several new members...I believe it will be a leader in the vampire community in time...so keep those applications coming...I have not been getting submissions for Worms of the Web so I hope these will begin to come in soon...haven't updated the Wall of Fears and the Graveyard of Fears is a few days...I will be looking at them soon...have updated some other pages doing some minor changes...still want to do some major changes in some pages..the mainpages including the Dark Room and the Dungeon...hope to make some progress with these soon...another day in the life.....

I have decided to start the "Worms of the Web", a little page I have devoted to those mindless and scam intended sites. A little tribute to those sites that have no message but an attention gimick for their reason for being...and those who are out to mislead or scam the unwary out of their pockets..may there be worthy sites for this hall of sham. I have also started the Vampyre Church Web Zine for news and articles and writing about the Church..first issue went out yesterday......

Again, it has been about two weeks since I posted here, but I have been doing different things to the pages here. I am happy to say that the Vampyre Church is doing well, more souls are becoming members. And I am always finding more dark fears posted on the Graveyard of Fears and the Wall of Fears, which I have updated. Numerous small cosmetic changes have been made on several pages. I decided to add LinkExchange to the opening page..I did not realize that I am getting over a 100 visits a day. I knew one day that I would join the big girls. hehe. I am now contemplateing sending this update list to all who would like to have it, will be adding this ability to certain pages soon. And now that Holloween is coming upon us, I will be developing a page devoted to this special time of year. And..I am always looking at new things to do with the site, suggestions and/or bitching always welcome.....

i have been making some major changes..have created The Graveyard of Fears which is a cgi script for making the entries from the Graveyard page easier to post and my responses easier to post.. redid the Graveyard page so the viewing and reading are easier.. have been updating pages..The Wall of Fears..and the comments section..i have been dropped from AvatarSearch without no explanation..i think that a site that deals with the mystery behind the dark unseen and/or unknown fears and nightmares of others should qualify for their search engine..i tried to email them and i recieved an automatic generated email saying they do not have time to answer email..i suppose they also do not have time to offer an explanation when they drop someone.....

redid the Awards i have recieved page reorganizing it's design and ease of use..updated many other pages including the Wall of Fears..i grow tired of the complaints i hear of the time for pages to load..it is a good thing i do not use any animation.. now i use a pc with 48 mb of memory and a 56k flex modem.. now all of you should have one if you desire to view a serious site that is intensely designed..and that is made clear on the first page..otherwise stop your whineing.....

completely redid the index opening page giving choices for new members to enter for the first time and others to go directly to the index of pages..also there are now direct links to the Wall of Fears and the Book of Souls from the opening page..updated the index of pages and the Wall of Fears..discarded some old links that do not work any longer..broke up the Book of Souls into two parts now for faster loading.....

well...it appears i have been fucked over by abctec.com which was the server for the Wall of Fears..i paid them $30 to keep the Wall on their server like they asked and then "they" disappear taking my data with them...but i have found a new server for the Wall and the Wall is back up again...abctec has gotten an enemy now and they ought to look behind on that dark alley..... i also updated some pages and added several quotes to many pages..all i think were quite dark and delicious..they are of course signed by their author's names when known.....another day in "this" life.....

well well...it appears that Web Guard is a little "click" that allows whomever they like into their "club"..their letters say that i have some skulls and gargoyes that "may" belong to "the Night Gallery"..no problem..have credited "the Night Gallery" on my site..also "they" say i had a vampic bar graphic that may belong to "Powers Court"..(which i did not know)so i removed it..all other graphics are credited to their repective owners including myself..but i have not heard back from them...maybe i will just start my own "web guard".....

i decided to remake the Dark Site Award..it needed a change and i tired of the old look..and i proudly gave out the 22nd winner of my Award to Lord Crow (www.Deathsdoor.com/LordCrow)..this guy has a nice dark looking site with information about the Legion of Darkness..today i joined the ring of darkness..it looked like my kind of place..i also added more comments to The Wall of Fears..a place to leave your unseen fears with a comment from yours truely.....

i scrapped the counters i have been using from geocities..the only counters i ever saw that the cgi would count back to old numbers..i think geocities cannot do anything without problems and now members (other than me) must put up with pop-up ads..this is such bad shit..entering someone's site just to see some big ad pop up in front of the site...anyway..i have installed new counters and have made some new graphics and i redid the page about my personality aberations and deformities...that is about myself..and also redid the main pages..well..another day in the life.....

i updated the Wall of Fears..now..the soul who wrote a few days ago that "i fear nothing" has written back today to write that he/she fears "nothingness"..a noteworthy fear..i have had much nothingness in this life and there seems to be no guarentee that with all the effort in this life there will not be nothingness..a thought..i also redid the index page and scaled it back to a more simpler and smaller graphic representing the entrance..one only needs a doorway to hell..*laugh*.....

today..hmmm..existing it seems for no good reason that i can yet fanthom..and walking the borders of life and death..seeing both and not liking either..where am i going with this?..hmmm..i have some new thoughts for my Rants page..it will bite you in the right place.....

i decided to completely rewrite one of my opening pages..www.geocities.com/Area51/5792/unknown.html..the page acts to set the mood of the site and has the name of the site with a picture of a howling wolf and an individual standing looking at a gravesite in a cemetary..included is this individual's story in this cemetary as an intro to the main part of the site..well..his story is rather tragic and reminds all of the unpredictability of the unknown..i certainly enjoyed writing it..*laugh*.....

well..today is getting off to a good start..i heard from one who calls himself/herself "Do You Know?" who writes on The Wall of Fears that "I fear nothing"...now i figure this guy/gal is either retarded and has lived this live a recluse sucking on mom's buttermilk or is just a liar..and a habitual one at that..who probably uses one liners for attention and suffers from chronic inferiority complex..hmm..starting another day in the life..it is the weekend and i have the inclination for major changes in this place..stay tuned boys and girls.....

I enjoyed giving out my 20th Dark Site Award today to The Unholy Sanctuary..Jennifer's place is quite dark and aluring with nice imagery and good reading..i felt right at home wondering around her dark and evil home..reminded me of my own dark and evil self...hmmm.....

So did all of you spend your money on flower day??..another day in the life and someone is there to take your money..*laugh*.. today i recieved another personal fear submitted by Scott.. he says "i dreamed that this person in this black cloak with a hood with a white face and black lips" (..sounds like someone i know..i think it might be me..) "came at me one time trying to kill me".."for some reason when i dream, i can't die no matter how many times i am stabbed"...seems to have no reason to fear.. perchance he is not of this world or maybe of this life??... well..another day and night in the life.....

I added another comment on the Wall of Fears to someone who expressed a fear of life alone...to Vassago...living this life alone is a thing we fear enough to try to prevent...but there are those that will do just about anything from fear of this and they are ones who should also be feared...for they cannot even live with themselves.....
