HALLOWEEN THOUGHTS
The wind cast shadows
In the gathering gloom.
The rain gathers as dew,
With the fullness of the moon.
Creatures from our hidden thoughts,
Run with innocent flocks.
Their wings spread wide -
As the night deepens inside.
What wild imaginings roam
Throughout the countryside.
What hides behing the haystacks
When moonbeams collide.
There is only our fears,
Built one on the other,
From parent to child -
And sister to brother.
