graveyard

Have you ever taken a walk thru a cemetary or a graveyard? and looked at old gravesites and their inscriptions? history is all around as old grave markers will attest to the life and death of old and young souls who have come to the end of a life only to start another of something we will not know till our time comes to join them and the dead... but a favorate place to be in the dark of night with the moonlight to guide your way and a cool breeze upon your face and the jaged outlines of trees looming above you as you walk between the gravesites...

I feel right at home here in the stillness of night and enjoy sitting next to the cold and damp stone that mark the end of other souls entombed in an afterlife and i feel the coolness of the grassy mounds where i lay upon and drift into a semi sleep feeling quite at home.. but i hear a howling as the wind picks up and blows over me and i see those jaged branches of trees swaying in the moonlight as if to reach out across the moon and hovering over me blocking out the moonlight till there is nothing but the darkness all around me that is blinding to all but the faint glow of the sky..

Clouds move across the moon creating dark shadows that move all about you as if some souls are creeping around you while your eyes try to adjust to the faint light and see what moves in the shadows of trees and grave stones.. ahhh..the cemetary..no other place like it in the night to spend with other resting souls........ *offers my hand*..come with me and face your unseen fears..walk thru the graveyard with me and allow me to guide you past old gravesites and to a place where you can tell your dark fears... but watch you step.......

There is nothing like a walk thru a graveyard in the dead of night..And with a bright moon, dark shadows lurk about to increase your fear of the unseen..There are jaged outlines of trees, and the cold breeze blows around hard concrete
slabs that sit up and stare at you...
Have you seen a good movie lately?..
some of my picks are...

Bladerunner
Bram Stoker's Dracula
Aliens (second one)
Interview With the Vampire
The Shining
The Thing (John Carpenter's)

i especially like horror and many films are dedicated to this genre to tell us a story that will make us turn our heads in the darkness of night to see the unseen... the horror genre in movies has been around since movies have been made and they keep arousing our imagination and our fear of the unseen and unknown.. what our imagination wants to know about what lies in the shadows in front and behind and in the sky above us... who and what is watching and following we ask and what do "they" have plans to do with us for we are forever preoccupied with the unseen and and that is the scariest fear of all....... and in night, so is the shadow of death and life must run from this ever pursuing devil.. until the respite that comes from the day, when all is resting until the dark shadows of night descend for another haunt by death, and the Black Crow watches from the shadows and so is life the shadow of death...

So what chases you in the night?
What is your unseen fear?
Are you having nightmares?
Are you afraid of something in the dark?
tell them to me....
