what is scaring you in the night?

Welcome to my Dungeon...
you have gone far into the depths of the earth
to get here....but now that you are here....
you sense a presence that is foreign and
the smell of a damp and musky place that is very cold but
you are caught by a strange presence and sounds in
the distance that do not seem human...
and you are reluctant to go down any further but
you know you are here and there is nowhere else you can go
you group around in the dark trying to feel your way..
but you feel a sticky mildewy film on the walls that
is cold to the touch and is like nothing you know..
the sounds and noises get louder and you know
they are not human..but what are they?.....
you know you are about to find out..but a voice
then comes out of the distant darkness offering
to guide you down further into the depths of the earth
come forward says i...and see what lies ahead
come see my pets..they will surely greet you..
for the mishaps of my laboratory lay before you
and danger lurks all around...........

*laughter in the distance*

i trust you are safe...please stay clear of the cages
for there lies the source of your fear...






i trust you are untouched and alright
but there is more...



Are you having nightmares?? Do you wake up in a sweat??
And you are wondering what haunts you in the night.
When you try to see.. you only see the cold blackness of the night around you..
there is no running for the darkness will surely follow..
what is there to do??
You remember locking your doors and believe you are safe
but you fumble trying to find a lightswitch and trip falling on the floor.
You are now crawling and the blackness is blinding
but you start to panic as you groop around for something familiar
but find there is nothing.
Fear grabs you and you now realize you are paralyzed to do anything...






now you hear a noise...a footstep maybe...
the floor and or the house seem to creak with something...
maybe the wind...something you can't see...
you know you must move and hide somewhere but from what??...
and you only keep hearing more but have only blackness to comfort you...
where do you go in the unseen and now the unknown??...
and now you try to find your way again unless something finds you...





you see a door..and know you must get quickly out..
